I expected ceramics, wood and leather working, jewelry, quilts, soap, bric a brac, you know, crafts when the museum's mission is "Exhibiting and promoting fine craft by professional artists." Apparently they ran out of that stuff at least for the current exhibit Equality : Figurative Works by Women.
Parking and admission are free, which is a good thing because I would have demanded my money back, I was that disappointed. In an era substantially defined by protests, these two - along with Pop Art, underground movies, the Belgium Pavilion at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair, Huntington Hartford's short-lived Show. My wife is an artsy crafty sort so I thought it would be interesting to check out the Ohio Craft Museum on a recent trip to Columbus.
